NORTH AMERICAN T-28 Trojan V1.2 for X-Plane

NEW :

  • New acf : "Bomber"
  • New livery : NATC
  • Bombing Mission (real time)
  • Explosion sounds and animation
  • Animated Target (Random position / Damages / Particules)
  • Bomb Proximity Damages on the plane
  • Persistant 3D Impact Craters


EXPERIMENTAL :

  • Particules-enhanced smoke on target jeep. (BOMBER only)

NB : This is prone to trigger Xplane Crash and should not be considered as a stable feature.
There is no way to know if your hardware/software will sustain this feature, reason why
particules are OFF by default and must be engaged manually when loading the plane.

FIXED :

  • Flaps are hydraulic
  • Hydraulic pump is engine-driven (Thanks to ttflyer for his inputs about this.)


IMPROVED :

  • Starting with engine running, bombs are armed (BOMBER) and mode "single" is selected
  • Bombs release now occurs in logical order (1-6,2-5,3-4)
  • Default avionics is ON with engine-running preference, OFF in "Cold&Dark"
  • Roll Rate tuned
  • Each acf now has a different default livery
  • Gain of most sounds was tuned
  • Plugin should run much quicker on most of the hardware (the code was 100% re-rewritten)

Changelog V1.1

  • FIXED :
    • Fixed bug "Perpetuum mobile"
    • Fixed bug "dead generator"
    • Fixed Drain Manifold Button
  • IMPROVED :
    • Avionics are now "off" by default
    • Corrected textures and animations for gears lock indicators
    • Mixture handle now sticks to "full rich", "normal", "cut-off" with no intermediate setting
    • Sounds stop when X-Plane enters pause mode
    • All sounds are now "spacialized"
    • Improved electrical consumptions calculations
    • Fuel Boost Pump and Fuel Valve are now linked as in the real stuff
    • High altitude power and ceilings tuned
  • NEW :
    • New Livery : VF84
    • New sound : fuel boost pump
    • New sound : rotating beacons engines. (Thanks to GregHoward for his inputs about this.)
    • Volumetric propeller
    • Version displays on the low-left corner of the screen for 10 seconds
    • One can switch back to learning mode without reloading the plane : menu/plugin/Gizmo/scripts/Virtual Flight Instructor
    • DEBBUG MODE "BLACKBOX" for better customer support can be enabled or disabled on demand (generates a log.file that logs all flight-related data --- NB : ~1Ko per monitored second)

K&A Development Team are proud to announce the North American T28 Trojan!

The T28 Trojan is both an advanced and a fun aircraft all at once! The flight model is closely modeled against the real world aircraft, and simulated failures are in full effect! To add even more fun into the mix this aircraft also features various modes of 'game play. This allows the user to just have fun and fly around without having to worry about anything, or fly in an advanced mode as a serious simmer. The choice is yours!
